How to apply to a Russian Medical University?

Here is a step-by-step guide to applying for admission to a Russian Medical College for an Indian student.

1. For free admission counselling, visit or call any of our offices/representatives. There you will find information on Russian medical universities, qualifying criteria, MBBS fees, admission procedures, and Yash Overseas facilitation fees. Students and parents must be aware of all information on universities, education, and living costs in Russia.

2. Once the student is pleased with all of the advantages and disadvantages of studying in Russia, he or she should submit a duly completed admission form, as well as scanned copies of his or her class 10th and 12th certificates and mark sheets.

At this stage, the student must pay an application/registration fee, which can be paid either by a Demand Draft made out to Yash Overseas and payable in Delhi/New Delhi, or by bank transfer to the company’s account.

3. You’ll receive a confirmation email after you’ve paid the application fee and submitted your application. Once you’ve completed this, your application will be sent to the appropriate university. The institution will send an admission/acceptance letter verifying the seat reservation within two weeks. The student is subsequently issued a letter of admission.

4. We will next apply for a VISA INVITATION LETTER, which is an official document issued by the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Finding the Invitation letter is a time-consuming process that takes around a month. (At this point, the student should present his passport in its original form.)

5. Yash Overseas will then apply for a student VISA from the Russian embassy after getting the INVITATION LETTER and Original Passport. The student gets notified of the travel date once the visa is ready. The student is responsible for obtaining the appropriate foreign exchange (US Dollars) for university tuition and living expenses. All original paperwork is returned to the student, including passports, visas, and certificates.

6. At this point, students should begin planning their travel to Russia. Additionally, the travelling students will be given a checklist of vital instructions and essential goods.

7. Students must also ensure that they have obtained all essential documentation, as these must be shown at the university office upon their arrival.

8. When the students arrive in Moscow, they will be met by one of our representatives who will accompany them from the airport to the University Hostel. The agent will assist them in paying the college fees and administrative costs in the university where you will be enrolling in the MBBS course the following day. The student will have no problems because he or she will be coached through the entire admissions procedure. Every move the young learners take on foreign terrain will be accompanied by us.

Documents required for admission in MBBS in Russia:

NOTE :  There’s some good news for Indian students interested in studying medicine at a foreign university. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has issued a gazette notification that extends the validity of the NEET exam to three years.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) result, according to the MCI Gazette notification, will be valid for three years from the date of declaration of results. This would assist students who are planning to study abroad, as the admission process in several countries is a time-consuming process.

The regulation “shall enter into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette,” which is March 14, 2019, according to the notification.

NOTE : Many agents offer Russian medical universities’ “Subsidized Tuition Fees.” They ask students to pay 6 years’ fees plus a discount under this Course. Yash Overseas always reminds students that there is no such thing as “supported fees” in Russian universities. The money would be kept by the agency, and you would be in trouble if they failed to pay the university fees on your behalf.
