Clinical Training
Clinical training is provided by the Republic of Tatarstan’s Ministry of Health’s 54 units. There are 33 general hospitals, outpatient departments, 21 polyclinics, maternity hospitals, dentistry polyclinics, and other healthcare facilities in the city. There are approximately 9000 beds in all. There are 4500 therapeutic beds, 2120 paediatric beds, 1500 surgical beds, and 440 gynaecological beds. The Republican Clinical Hospital is the primary centre for clinical training. Hospital of emergency care, City hospital No. 18, and Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center are among the other clinical training facilities.

Kazan University Hostels
There are six hostels at Kazan State Medical University. Different types of rooms, varying in size, are available to international students. Two or three students can usually share a room. All of the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and well-heated. Internet connectivity is available in the rooms. Students’ facilities, such as bathrooms and kitchens, are organised on a shared basis. Students have their own spaces where they can mingle and make new acquaintances. The police are on duty 24 hours a day to secure the students’ lodgings. The University is only a short distance away from the hostels.
